I look at this picture and am wonderfully amazed. I see my son and grandson. I know, I know there are lots of folks with sons and grandsons in the same picture but this two generational view gives me much joy. My parents are dead. My only brother has died. My wife's parents have died. Our grandparents have died and most of our aunts and uncles. Yet, we have been blessed by God to live long enoungh to see this generational "hand-off" of traditions, joy, family connectedness, and fun.
God's mercies are many and endure from generation to generation.
